Navigating the site

Welcome to the Crawford College Online Store. The following summarises the process:
  1. Use the the top navigation menus to browse for the schoolwear, sportwear or accessories that you are looking for, or click the search icon to type in a search term.
  2. Once you have found the product you are looking for, select the size and quantity that you are interested in and hit the “Add to cart” button.
  3. Repeat this process until you have added all the desired products to your cart.
  4. When you are ready to purchase the product or products, hit the shopping trolley icon in the top right of the navigation menu.
  5. At this point, you can either register as a repeat customer or guest checkout (i.e. register for a once off transaction). In either case, complete the information as requested. Please provide us with a correct cell phone number and email address so that we can contact you- very important!
  6. Complete your delivery preferences / details. Your delivery / collection options are; i) collection from the school, ii) collection from McCullagh & Bothwell stores, or iii) delivery to a Postnet branch. Note: whilst the first two options are free of delivery charges, delivery via Postnet carries a charge of R99. Once we have passed the goods to Postnet, you will receive an SMS with your tracking number details- please follow up with Postnet or via their website to track for the delivery. Please note that at this point in the process, you can add special comments or instructions relating to your order.
  7. You will be asked to confirm order, and once confirmed, you will be taken to a secure payment site, where you will need to follow the required prompts to complete the payment process. Please note you can only pay using “Pay gate”- no other payment options are currently available.
  8. Once the process is complete, you will receive an email containing the details of your order.
  9. When collecting your order, please note the following: if collecting from either the school or McCullagh & Bothwell, you will need to present your order ID number and sign for receipt of order. You should receive an SMS to advise when the order will be ready for collection. For Postnet collections, you will need to present your tracking number, which will also be SMS’ed to you and ID of person collecting the parcel. Points to Note:

Delivery / collection lead times

Where the selected collection location is the school, we will endeavour to deliver all orders placed before 11am on Thursday for any given week on Friday morning of that same week. However, depending on circumstances and where possible, we will endeavour to perform another delivery earlier in the week.

Where the collection location is the McCullagh & Bothwell branch, these will ordinarily be available 1-2 working days after order placement.

Where Postnet is the selected collection point, we will endeavour, together with our delivery partner, to deliver all orders placed within approx. 4-6 working days.

In any event, and irrespective of the collection location, you will receive a notification indicating when your order is ready for collection.

What happens if an order can’t be fulfilled?

If for any reason we are unable to fulfill your order in full (normally because of stock outs), someone from McCullagh & Bothwell will be in contact, so that a decision on how best to proceed can be jointly made. This process will then take place ‘offline’.

Sizing

Sizing can be tricky! However, if you purchase the wrong size, the garments can easily be exchanged at McCullagh & Bothwell Hyde Park, or facilitated through . Specific sizing guidance is provided on relevant product pages, where appropriate. For further sizing assistance, go to the sizing guide.
